"Wessex Exempt is a team of experienced team racers brought together purely for the Wilson 2010. This hardened group of sailors- who between them have notched up 3 BUSA gold medals, a national team racing championship title, a world team racing championship title, and domination of every social ever attended - are eager to take to the waters of West Kirby for their debut appearance at The Wilson.
This long awaited appearance of the 6 sporting elite is set to be a sight not to be missed, it will be the epitomy of beauty on water, prepare to be amazed at the quality of their boat handling, the splendour of their tactics, the magnificance of their starting, the exquisitness of their gybe downs, this will be racing never before witnessed by the folk of Liverpool.
Wessex Exempt pride themselves on not only maintaining excellent etiquette on the water, but also in the bar- each member is thoroughly versed in the 'English National Anthem', 'Swing Low' and 'Jerusalem'.
Wessex Exempt is without a doubt a team which will add flair and originality to this age old event alongside top quality team racing and a large dollop of banter.
