The Wilson Trophy is a truly international sporting event. It’s so popular the number of overseas teams has to be limited so that UK’s teams aren’t squeezed out. Sailors fly from around world for a great weekend’s sailing.
This is the 62nd Wilson Trophy and year on year; it becomes more popular and creates more national and international interest.

Live results over the weekend are posted to the event website every 60 seconds. Up to 300 races can be sailed before the champion emerges and the build-up to the event and reports of it are covered in all media outlets.
