| Hinman Trophy 2008 – 15-17 August The 2008 George Hinman Trophy took place at Erie Yacht Club, Pennsylvania in sunny conditions between 15 and 17 August. 16 American teams and one lone UK team (the West Kirby Hawks) competed for the trophy that signifies the pinnacle of US team racing. [Click here for more information] Published 10/09/2008 Hinman Trophy at Erie Yacht Club - USA The West Kirby Hawks team has just come runners up in the Hinman Trophy (the US National Team Racing Championship), held at Erie Yacht Club. The event was sailed in Vanguard 15s. The finals were won by the Silver Panda team, who have won the event for the past three years. The Hawks team was the only non-US team competing in the Championship. The team comprised Dom Johnson/Debs Steele, Ben Field/Tom Foster and Andy Cornah/Hamish Walker.
